In addition to comedian and emcee Leonard Reed, Edith Wilson, duo Miller and Lee, and dancers Archie Savage, Anise Boyer, and Marie Bryant, the revue included a twenty-one year-old Dorothy Dandridge in one of her first featured roles. In reviewing “Sweet ’n’ Hot,” the Los Angeles Times described Dandridge as “a winsome youngster with considerable on the ball.”65
