On July 16, 1948, the Atlanta Daily World ran a piece titled, “These Men Hold Key Posts in United Nations Activities.” Above the fold on the first page, the paper featured pictures and profiles of Dr. Ralph Bunche, Dr. William Dean, Ed Lawson, Daniel Chapman, James Bough, Dr. Ernest Kalibala.
