August 14, 1947
On August 14, 1947, the Los Angeles Sentinel welcomed six national conclaves who were holding meetings in the City of Angels: Zeta Phi Beta sorority, Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, National Medical Association, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Golden West Bridge Association, and Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.
